Some of our services include: trigger jobs, repairs, accurizing, enhancing reliability, wear inspections on parts, installing parts both factory and after market, and many more gunsmithing services.

GUNSMITHING PRICES

Flat Rate

$$ AMOUNT

We offer a flat rate, meaning that the price for the particular service is already set. The price will not go up based on the time it takes to complete the service rendered.

Transfer and Shop Fee

$$ AMOUNT

There is a $35 transfer fee for any project involving the ATF Form 4473. For transfers to another FFL $35. For extra insurance on shipping $8. There is a $2 shop fee for all transactions.

Deposits

$20 USD

There is a $20 deposit on all firearm parts or supply orders.

Highlands Gunworks is proud to provide Military Veterans (Even the Air Force, just kidding), police, firefighters, and EMS a 10% discount.

Safety Instruction

Highlands Gunworks Gunsmithing will also provide firearms safety instruction to customers and their children at no cost.

Why Highlands Gunworks?

As a former Force Reconnaissance Marine, Mr. Maliwauki has had multiple combat deployments throughout the world over a 33-year career, both active, and reserve. Moreover, he has completed several rigorous training events to include: The Marine Corps Amphibious Reconnaissance School, US Army Special Forces Underwater Operations Course, US Army Ranger School, US Special Forces SERE, US Marine Designated Marksman Course, Army Airborne, US Navy EOD Explosive Breaching Course, and the US Army Small Weapon Repair Course, among many others. As a retired Law Enforcement professional, he was a certified instructor in both firearms and defensive tactics for the State of Virginia with over twenty years of experience. As a member of the Police Department’s Tactical Team, he was both a Police Sniper and Assault Team Leader. Following his Law Enforcement career, he was employed as a Firearms and Military subjects Instructor for the US Government at the Armed Forces Experimental Training Activity in Williamsburg, Virginia. His passion extends from his gunsmithing work to teaching others self-defense and firearms safety. He also holds a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in Law Enforcement and is a graduate of the National Criminal Justice Command College at the University of Virginia. With his knowledge, training and experiences, he understands the importance of firearm reliability, accuracy, and safety.
